Conflicts within the community
What counts as a conflict?
A conflict is that of which there is usually a problem between the admin, and another player.
Earliest known conflict
The earliest known conflict of that is the Newman case, in which two brothers Jon Newman and Zac Newman (aka ringworm) started to become heavy abusers of their advanced, leading to Zac making lazer prisons, eventually being caught out.
Katie<3 / Noobie - The one legged wonder!
The first incarnation of Katie<3 is actually Noobie, her "sister". Eventually after leaving, apparently giving her steam account to a "friend". After leaving, a new 'female' member joined the forum called Katie<3, ironically also eventually revealing she was from the same family. Ended up getting pushed out of the community, and returns when her other community, TnB kicks her out.
She's the bitch that we all want to just get the hell out.
Brandon Roberts
A crazy child doing what ever it takes to troll, flame, and be immature. After raging on the BB Role-Play server because of Chuck Norris banning himself. And was banned soon after. Brandon Roberts had bugged many members of The Syndicate in the early months of its existence. Eventually Exuave granted him a position in the group because he felt bad. Brandon later stopped playing and randomly reappeared to defend Chuck Norris which, like it says earlier, got him banned where he can't annoy the community ever again.
Chuck Norris
Chuck Norris is a former, disgraced admin whom was manipulative to Ben, being one of only a few admins not to get Teddi's initial confirmation to the team. After causing many a controversial event, making catfight calls, he was disgraced, and demoted. He swore not to return, however has now returned (and left again).
PC Camp
PC Camp was a developer on [BB]. It quickly became clear that he was manipulating Ben, becoming power-hungry. This was confirmed when he went behind Teddi's back to suggest implementing an ASSmod modification on the server which put developers above full-admins. He left the community, and later returned minus the power-whoring. He continued developing the gamemodes (mostly sandbox08) before finally quitting for good.
When Teddi left the community
Teddi left the community in July / August after having a constant battle against Camp about certain details about certain modifications to the gamemode. On his leaving, he spammed keypad hackers to the members currently on the server, providing free weapons and ammo, before leaving. He was banned soon after, however not for being an ass, but for spamming the keypad hackers (These were Ben's babies).
Teddi however monitored BB from a distance, watching the general habits and the power fighting starting to appear.
Eventually, during this period when Teddi left, Kudomiku was then ousted by the community, and soon after leaked the current script to the rest of the Gmod communiy.
Soon after, Ben asked Teddi to rejoin, and doing so, Teddi took over the front of the community, while Ben worked on the script.
Most people refer to these days as the dark days.
Conna / Kudomiku
Kudomiku is a former developer who was run out of the community after a series of disagreements with other admins. After attacks from admins from BB, he released the gamemode and started a series of his own attacks back on BB. Because of that, if any exploit in Gmod is suddenly made and appears on the server / forums, people instantly start yelling
OMG KUDO IS ATTACKING US
or
WHAT EXPLOIT IS HE USING NOW
or even
IS KUDO ATTACKING US?
This general amount of faggotory is frowned upon, and really shows that players can be somewhat retarded.
It is also frowned upon to make any attacks towards him, as really his gamemode is his, our gamemode is ours.
In the end, he is bit of a fag considering some of his past actions, however likewise can be said for certain people who retaliated.
