Police Chief
The Police Chief is the second-in-command of the hierarchy that exists within the command structure. He controls the Police, but takes orders from the Mayor. If there is no Mayor online, then the Chief gains extra abilities including lockdown and demotion.
Salary and Unique Items
- The Chief's is paid 45 Tokens for his duty, as he faces constant injuries, and threats.
- The Chief possess a unique armory, which contains his Pump Shotgun and his Deagle. He also retains the standard Police Kit, minus the UMP45 and P228.
How the Chief progressed through life
In RP07 the Chief was Overwatch, which had to be granted by Ben. Few players had this, and it was the most sought after class, given a 100 Token salary. Eventually, Admins got the power to give this out, however this was for the time span of about two weeks, before it was revoked.
Eventually, as RP08 came into production, this was changed (Although this change was in November 2007) to be Police Chief. The Chief was a class that required you to be Police, and to be voted in. This was changed in July 2008, where the vote was removed, the salary reduced, and the kit was changed to the Chief Shotgun which could one shot kill anything. It also contained a secondary fire, the Gas Grenade which allowed the Chief to subdue and slow people in an Area of Effect type move. However, the rest of the kit remained as it was.
However in a renewed update, the shotgun was then changed to auto, and it's damage greatly reduced. This was then slightly increased as it was deemed too weak to even shoot a squirrel.
