Darkrip first came to BB back in February of '08 on a reccomendation from John Brown. He often spent his afternoons rping as mobboss with John, and never really getting to know the admins or join the forums. Dark left for a period when the server was in flux, and came back once the server had switched to C45. He joined the Syndicate at its formation, and quickly worked his way up to the officer ranks, at which point he joined the forums, but had never been all that active on them in areas other than Groups and Offtopic. After the syndicate's collapse due to the absence of Exuvae, Darkrip left the community for about a month, and persued other gamemods, but eventually came back to BB, and attempted to revive the Syndicate. It worked to some extent, but too many of the original members had left the community, or perused other ventures within the community. He then rped some as citizen, some as civil protection, until Exuvae returned, and the Lambda Resistance was born. Darkrip thought that the Syndicate would return to its former glory, but sadly, it was not so. The Resistance experienced a short burst of genuine roleplay for about a week, but then Exuvae dissapeared again, and he was eventually removed for office by Teddi. With the spot of Resistance leader open, chaos ensued. Elections were held, and it was nearing the end for the Resistance. Maeve eventually won the election, against Darkrip's wishes, and as he predicted, the Resistance fell into ruin. There are only a few members left in what is now the "Human Resistance," a weak mockery of what the Lambda Resistance stood for, and none of them are originals. Most of the remaining loyals to Exuvae left to join the limited Vortiguant group, and Darkrip went with them. Since then, Darkrip has been eagerly awaiting the completion of serious to hopefully return to the "good 'ol days" of syndicate roleplay, in a new, better, form.
