The police were a righteous class that existed to protect the citizens of whatever city they were based in on RP08. They had the ability to arrest people (or unarrest in cases of misjustice), Ram down doors for those that are warranted, and also shoot to kill if it was required.
Equipment and Salary
Police get paid 45 Tokens in RP08.
The equipment that Police got in RP08 was a UMP45, with a P228. Alongside this, they also recieved an Arrest Baton, an Unarrest Baton alongside a Stunstick that enabled them to incapacitate an unruly citizen or someone who was committing a crime.
Previous Weapons
Police further back in RP08, had an MP5 and a Glock. This was changed to prevent abuse and exploits.
