Introduction

The crafting system is designed to allow players to turn their excess Items into Essence, which can in turn be used to Craft rewards such as Seasonal Crates, Effect Jars, and Unusual Items. A new Seasonal Crate can be Crafted for as low as 9 Items, so it's a good way to increase your odds of unboxing high-value Items.

Crafting is managed from the Crafting Tab in the F1 menu.

Essence

There are 3 Primary Essence within the Crafting system, which are used to Craft rewards.

• Eternal Essence - This is the Essence produced initially from your spare Items. It can be used to Craft Seasonal Crates or upgraded into the more powerful Infinity Essence
• Infinity Essence - This Essence can be used to Craft a Random Headgear Item with a chance to be Unusual, or can be upgraded to the more powerful Timeless Essence. It also makes up a part of the recipe for the Legendary Effect Jar.
• Timeless Essence - These are the most lucrative Essence, and are required to Craft Legendary Effect Jars, which can be used to apply an Unusual effect to any Hat or Face item.

Standard Rewards

The Crafting system as of 2021 offers the below rewards:

• Craft Random Headgear Item (2x Infinity Essence) - Crafts a random Item which has a chance to be Unusual. A cheaper way to potentially gain valuable Unusuals, but more risky than crafting a Legendary Effect Jar.

• Craft Random Effect Jar (2x Timeless Essence, 1x Infinity Essence) - Crafts a Legendary Effect Jar which can grant any Unusual effect. The jar can then be applied to any Hat or Face item, or sold for a high price on the Player Marketplace.

• Craft Seasonal Crate (1x Eternal Essence) - Craft a Crate to open for only one Eternal Essence, this is considered a cheap way to gamble for more Unusual or lucrative Items.

Seasonal Rewards

• [Christmas] Craft Christmas Crate (6x Lump of Coal) - During the yearly Christmas event, coal you accumulate can be converted into more Christmas Crates.

• [Christmas] Craft Snowman Assimilation Kit (1x Radio, Aura, Blizzard, Hat, Dignity, Tree) - Combine several Items from the Christmas event to Craft an Assimilation Kit, converting you into a snowman and allowing you to assimilate others into your army.

• [Halloween] Craft Halloween Crate (3x Expired Candy) - Candy collected during the yearly Halloween event can be converted into additional Crates.

How to Craft Rewards

To get started with the Crafting system, you'll need plenty of cosmetic Items you no longer want to keep.

• Craft as many Items as you can spare into Eternal Essence. This is the starting Essence required for any Crafting. One Eternal Essence costs 9 Items.

• If you're looking to Craft more Crates to open, once you've Crafted an Eternal Essence you can choose the 'Craft Seasonal Crate' reward under the 'Craft Items' header to earn a new Crate.

• If you're looking for a more lucrative prize, you'll need to Craft more Eternal Essence. Once you've Crafted 6 (which costs 54 Items), you can Craft 2x Infinity Essence. This is the cost to Craft a Random Headgear Item, which has a chance to gain an Unusual effect. You can Craft this via 'Craft Random Headgear Item'.

• For the most lucrative Legendary Effect Jar , you'll need to invest in Crafting Timeless Essence. The cost is greater but there is no risk of not getting an Unusual Item, unlike Crafting a Crate or Random Headgear. For this Item you'll need to Craft 2x Timeless Essence (162 Items) and have a further 1x Infinity Essence (27 Items). Once you have all 3 Essence you can Craft the Legendary Effect Jar via 'Craft Random Effect Jar'.
