New Life Rule

The New Life Rule, often abbreviated "NLR" in and out of the server, is the acknowledged rule where you simply forget your past life when you die, and start a new one.

Let's look at a basic scenario;

You see a drug lab in someones apartment and run in, but he/she kills you before you radio for help. So you're dead, and start a new life. In this new life you don't remember your old one, so you don't remember who killed you, where, or remember about the drug labs.

Returning back to the apartment with an MP5, warranting the owner, arresting him/her and destroying the drugs is breaking the "NLR".

Many scenarios cover the NLR, not just this. Others include shouting out in OOC "Help *Name* killed me". This is breaking the NLR, as is hunting down your killer with sworn vengeance.

Breaking the NLR in my cases generally warrants a slay/kick, in rare circumstances you may be banned for a short period of time for breaking it. If you are part of the Civil Protection you may be Black Listed (Blocked from CP). You'll quickly annoy people if you continually break the NLR.
